Physical Description:
Dark slits rarely widen, taking in everything no matter the darkness. Thinner than a mouse's tail and less than half the length, the pupil can scold without word or simple expression. The thinner they are the more intimidating they seem. They hold the power to stare any cat down, competitively strong. Dark, beautiful forest green irises, playful when wanted but harsh when required. Laughing emotions, hissing out orders silently and quickly. Dangerous to challenge, remorseful to disapprove.Quick Description:
Confidently sure expressions, never faltering. White teeth refuse to stain from past battles, and the same with her black claws. Faded black and gray, with one or two white hairs cover her ears protectively. Black splashes upon her face, with one white streak on the back of her left ear. Coat of jet and pads of white, sleek enough not to catch dirt or grass between her claws or fur. Strong black nose rarely wrinkles in disgust with her strong stomach.
Mocking pink tongue keeps active within her mouth, no matter what she’s doing; talking, cleaning her teeth, or eating. Pelt always kept neat and clean, without caring for the weather. Few times does a sneeze escape and onto her pelt, with her flexible and quick movements to whip her neck almost all the way around with the white patch in the center whirling halfway with it. Soft fur, especially on the peppery outside and inner white of the spot on her chest, covers entire body of the thin cat.
black she-cat with a white chest and forest green eyesPersonality:
Competitive. She won’t allow anyone to pass over her or to tread upon her. She always has to be the first one to finish the race, to win the battle. She loves to compete somehow with random cats, if it’s by seeing who can catch three rabbits before the other or get to the top of the tree first. She isn’t ambitious, but doesn’t exactly trust other cats to lead the Clan correctly.History:
Fearlessly fearsome. Many cats are intimidated by her, mainly because she fears nothing. Her eyes practically scream ‘defy me and die’ whereas her expressions are soft and kind. It can be confusing, but she is a good leader for the fact that she’ll venture where no other cat will without worrying too much about what will be on the other end.
Obsessive compulsive. She loves for things to be neat. They also need to be in nice piles; for the elders’ bedding, for example, she makes sure the apprentices give them a perfectly round pile or else they’ll be stuck on elder duties for a week. Adoring nice piles, she almost always sorts the prey so that each different type of prey is in a different pile. Now she tries to hide her disorder, but she gets a little twitchy when she has that sort of problem.
Playfully sarcastic. Hollystar is careful with the way that she insults, keeping a good reputation with her attacks. They’re rarely serious, simply playful, fun, and enjoyable. Those who are laughed at usually laugh as well. Few cats actually take it personally, even though she clearly doesn’t mean it. She is witty with her remarks.
Serious. Whenever she has to be, her playful tone turns serious and she speaks about something on that matter. She knows when she needs to be and automatically switches. Sometimes she comes up with her greatest ideas when she’s serious.
Harsh. As playful as Hollystar is, she can be sharp and harsh, bitter and hateful if she needs to and makes reasonable decisions while still intimidating her foes. She only lays out the feeling on those that need, or deserve it.
Haunting. Her face is memorable and can haunt cats within their dreams of her coming after them and attacking them, though she only would do it if she honestly needed to. She doesn’t usually mean to be so, unless she wants them to be fairly warned with their future and to be careful with what they decide to do near her territory.
Hollykit coughed in air. Her frail body shook as she hissed. Her stupid sister! Turning her head around, she cried out as she was suddenly pushed into a rock. Head spinning, she forced herself back to her tiny paws. The tom attacking her was thrust away by her mother. Holly glared at Slipperykit, angry at her older sister for getting them in this position. Her father, Oneclaw, darted away from behind them. He snatched Barkkit by the scruff and gently but frantically tossed him to his sisters. Seakit, another tom, led his younger brother, Blackkit, to the three others. Then Oneclaw came and stood above them, his belly fur softly touching some of their ears. Holly flattened herself to the ground, not wanting her father's fur to get up her sensitive nose.IC:
In the blink of her eyes a large she-cat knocked her father off his paws and started grappling with him. Slippery and Sea rushed toward a crevice in one of the rocks behind them. Black stumbled after, tripping over a clump of bloody grass. His chest soaked in blood, Holly helped him up and raced side by side with him. Bark was last, yowling as a warrior crushed him as soon as he got in the hole. His body lay limp at the cat's paws, but he ignored it and pushed his paw in and waved it around to try to get another kit. Holly hissed and bit his paw as hard as she could; he yowled and fled, his paw getting stuck. It took two more tries to get it out. Holly pushed her nose into her brother's pelt, feeling blood seep into her mouth. She honestly couldn't care less. "Barkkit, hold on. Please don't leave me."
She whispered, licking his three moon old fur. Her eyes glazed over as he took the pain to shake his head and repeat 'no' over and over. Holly felt his breathing stop after a few more shuddering breaths. Even though the screeches of battle still echoed outside, penetrated by a single kit's tiny mew, Holly heard absolutely nothing. Her mind had blocked out every single thought and sound save for her brother, which left her world silent and still. Her mouth was partially open in shock, eyes watery. Blackkit leaned against her, purring softly.
Reality slowly came back upon her, and her frozen muscles tensed when the earsplitting cry of a cat that had just lost their mate pushed into the hole. Holly bent her head and started dragging her dead brother out. Black helped her, followed instantly by Sea. Slippery hesitated. "Aren't you going to help? It's your own fault he's dead!" Holly snarled, dropping Barkkit from the short height. Slipperykit flinched. She scurried forward and lifted Bark's head. Holly grabbed his scruff again and they carried him out to their mother, who turned upon them with vicious eyes.
"They killed him, kits! The loners killed your father!" She cried desperately. Then her pained gaze turned to Barkkit. "And him, too. . ." Her mouth opened in pain. "Seakit, Slipperykit. Go back to camp and tell them what happened. Hollykit and Blackkit will find a place to bury our loved ones around here somewhere." The two eldest kits sprinted away, while the two youngest purred quietly to each other for comfort to find a place to bury their father and brother. Holly picked up her father's scent and her purrs halted abruptly. A tree only a few steps away was covered in his scent, with a pile of moss at it's roots. She pulled it away, and Blackkit silently began helping her. That's when another earsplitting cry shook the forest. She heard Slipperykit's name within it. Looking up on sync, Holly and Black pressed closer together and continued to pull up the moss. It looked like three cats would be resting here for the rest of eternity. Their mother came running, carrying Slipperykit. Two more Clan cats dragged Oneclaw. "Where is he to be buried, Darkheart?"
"Here." Hollykit supplied. The three elder cats got to work while Seakit appeared, dragging Barkkit. "So many deaths today. . . Why did Slipperykit have to find the fighting warriors and bring us to them, why?" Blackkit hissed. Hollykit shrugged and, trembling, purred softly to him again. He purred louder, and they curled up in the moss and fell asleep side by side with shaking fur and sad spirits.
the three cats were buried. blackkit got the mentor of his mother, as did hollykit because of lack of warriors. seakit fled and became a loner. all went well, and blackpaw became blackblaze while holly became hollyfeather. their mother, after she finished training her two apprentices, went after seakit and never returned. blackblaze tried to find her, and when hollyfeather went after him she found a badger ripping his limbs apart. she cursed the stars for it.
